I had my first mother's day and i think it was probably quieter than they will be in the future since little Heuvo is quietly growing (no kicks yet). I got pampered by Pete which was nice...flowers, ran errands for me, went for a walk, made dinner and got 2 new tops and a very sweet card.
I also got a sweet card and beautiful sun dress from Mama Ulla. Even got a couple cards from friends. Overall a pretty good haul for not even having given birth yet.

Keeping you up to date on the latest news on Sabine Johanna & Sofia Susanne Ficht. Originally, this blog was called Waiting for Huevo and was a journal about waiting for our little huevo to be born (you see, we were in Mexico when we found out we were pregnant).
Now this blog will be dedicated to watching our little Bine (bumblebee) grow up - until she is old enough to delete this blog in mortification.
And now continued with the adventures of Nuevo, otherwise known as Sofie, born 20 months later.

I wonder what will happen on Father's Day next month....?
As a recipient of father's day love now for 17 years (including the in-utero holiday), I've come to one conclusion:
Mother's Day: Shower her with gifts, love, chores and pampering.
Father's Day: Be quiet, let me do what I want and just stay out of my way. And presents? What do I need presents for? You know what would make this a perfect Father's Day? Turn down the damn thermostat, turn the freakin' lights off when you leave a room, and maybe, just maybe, do something the first time I ask you.
Oh yeah, a little brunch with the family is nice too.
